Welcome! I just wanted to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves, tell about about us and our family, and explain how In-It-Together.Com came to be. First off, I am Kelly. My husband is Brad. We have been married for just over 6 years and just celebrated 9 years together this month. I am a high school teacher. I teach freshmen reading, sophomore writing and speech, and senior drama. Brad works in IT. He is a computer genius if I've ever seen one. We have three amazing children.
Robin is our first little surprise. She will be 7 years old this coming October. She truly is the humor in our lives. She is such a happy, smart, and amazing little girl. She can brighten anyone's day. Her kindergarten teacher just loved her. She knew Robin would brighten her day no matter what. She told us this often. We are hoping that her 1st grade teacher is as amazing as her kindergarten teacher. Robin is also an awesome big sister. She does have her issues, especially with sharing. Overall, she is a very kind, loving, and sweet little girl. Our second miracle is Logan. He is our little man. There is no love like the love of a little boy for his momma. Those of you with sons know exactly what I am talking about. He just turned 2 years old this past March. We worried about his lack of vocabulary. Up to the age of 2, he was limited to ma, da, bo, no, woof, and beep. This was very different from his big sister, who was speaking in sentences, knew her ABCs, could name colors, and count to 10 by this age. We weren't sure if she should worry. Since his second birthday has passed, his language skills have exploded. He is such an amazing little guy. He is a tornado and a snuggler all wrapped up into one little boy.
Our last little surprise is Evangeline(Evie). She will be 5 months old at the end of this month. She really is the light of our lives. She has been the model baby since her birth. She has made the transition from two to three kids very easy on us. She is a mover and a shaker though. She loves to explore. She loves to crawl around the floor. at this pace, she is going to be walking before we know it.
So that is my family. I love being a mother to three. I definitely feel like our family is complete now that Evie has arrived. It's almost like she knew it was her time to come. She knew better than us. I have been a part of the parenting message forum scene since we decided to try to conceive Logan. I started out at a fairly popular site. While pregnant with Evie, me and many of my online friends moved to a new forum due to the original site being policed too much. If your views were not the same as everyone else's, you were jumped on, beaten, and left bloody by the side of the road(figuratively speaking of course). We found a new home. Recently, I convinced Brad to become part of the forum community. It turned out so much better than I expected. We love being able to share the message board. It gave us things to talk about, to think about, to laugh about. Lately, our "home" has been turned upside down. It was sold again to another company. In doing so has resulted in lengthy outages, painfully slow loading times, and numerous other issues. During this past weekend, the forum was down for 2 1/2 days. Brad and I started discussing starting our own. It was most important to us to keep our group of girls together. We tried in vain to access the forums and decided to go ahead with our plans to start a new forum. Brad has been working non stop on getting the forum just the way we want it. His knowledge of computers, software, and just about anything he can wrap his mind around has been vital in In-It-Together.Com's creation. We created this site for parents, moms and dads. We wanted to give people a place to share their families. We wanted a place that was owned by a family. Brad and I are dedicated to giving all of you a safe and fun place to share your families, your relationships, and your lives. So that is us. If you need anything at all, please let us know. We are here for YOU.
